We successfully completed the installation of large-diameter drilled caisson foundations for a raised train bridge constructed along an active coastal corridor. The project required deep foundation support capable of transferring structural loads through loose beach sands and variable subsurface conditions into competent bearing strata.

Construction was performed in a high groundwater environment directly adjacent to the shoreline, requiring the use of temporary casing and specialized drilling methods to maintain hole stability in saturated soils and tidal zones. Each caisson was installed, reinforced, and concreted under strict quality control procedures to ensure long-term performance in a corrosive marine environment.
Our team coordinated closely with project stakeholders to manage coastal access constraints, environmental protections, and proximity to active infrastructure. The completed foundation system provides durable, high-capacity support for the elevated rail structure, designed to withstand dynamic loading, scour conditions, and long-term coastal exposure.
