Securing Challenging Terrain
Building on steep slopes or in landslide-prone areas requires engineered precision. ADEI designs and installs slope stabilization systems that prevent soil erosion and structural failure.

Custom Solutions
- Soil Nail Walls: A cost-effective solution for over-steepened slopes. We drill horizontally into the slope, grout reinforcing steel into place, and apply a shotcrete facing, which can also be finished with a decorative, sculpted surface to blend into the surrounding environment.
- Soldier Pile Walls: Utilizes steel beams and lagging, often anchored with tiebacks, to hold back massive earth loads.
- Shotcrete Retaining Walls: Permanent structural walls formed with shotcrete, which can be sculpted and finished decoratively to achieve both structural performance and an aesthetic that integrates with the natural surroundings.
- Shear Pins with Grade Beams and Tiebacks: Reinforcement systems designed to stabilize slopes and resist lateral movement.
Limited Access Expertise
Many failing slopes are difficult to reach. We utilize portable drilling equipment and limited-access rigs to perform repairs in backyards, tight urban lots, and rugged hillsides where standard equipment cannot go.
